The medical professionals at Baptist Health provide 24-hour monitoring and acute care for critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Patients have access to specialists in a range of disciplines who utilize advanced equipment and technology to provide high-quality care.
We understand that having a family member or loved one in the ICU can be difficult- that’s why our critical care team members are dedicated to keeping you informed and answering your questions.
Visiting arrangements will be made upon admission to the ICUs. The medical and nursing staff retain the right to limit visitors based on the clinical status of the individual patient and the overall status of the unit. The preferred maximum number of visitors within a room at one time is two.
There are no set hours for visitations, however quiet time is request after 11 p.m.
